Rate of Fire: 1
Hands Required: 2

Arasaka HJSH-18 Masamune:

Every single one of the Masamune's elements, down to the tiniest screws and bolds, were quality ensured by a legion of Arasaka engineers, and you can feel it. Planned for a 2050 release, however, due to an Arasaka convoy that went mysteriously missing, some of these have already started to enter black market circulation.   An Exotic Assault Rifle with a Power Rebuild. Its proprietary magazine holds 24 rounds. When fired in Single Shot, it deals 3d6 damage, expending 3 rounds with each Attack Check.   If not enough rounds are available to fire 3, it empties the magazine and deals 4d6 instead.

Arasaka WAA Bullpup Assault Weapon:

A bullpup assault rifle that was standard issue for Arasaka soldiers in the 2020s. Tough, reliable, and chipped for smartgun use.   The Arasaka WAA Bullpup is an Exotic Assault Rifle with a 30-shot capacity and a Smartgun Link. Despite being an Exotic weapon, it is still capable of loading Non-Basic Ammunition. Incompatible with Magazine Attachments.

Arasaka Prototype Variable AR:

During the 4th Corporate war, Arasaka "commissioned" two captured Rhinemetall engineers to design an automatic weapon with railgun capabilities. However, by the time they had produced a batch of prototypes and shipped them off for hands-on testing in Tokyo, the project had to be shelved due to their workshop in the Night City's Arasaka Tower annihilation via nuclear fire. Most versions of the AVAR found in the wild are missing at least one of the two needed conversion parts for the railgun mode. To convert the weapon, the normal receiver is switched out with an electromagnetic one, and the barrel is switched out with a heat-resistant one. While this change locks the weapon out of autofire and makes it less accurate, it is made up for by the railgun mode's armour piercing capability.
The Arasaka Variable Assault Rifle is an Excellent Quality Exotic Assault Rifle with a unique alternate fire railgun mode. Assuming you have both needed conversion parts, you can switch between its standard and special railgun variant mode when combat begins (before Initiative is rolled), anytime outside of combat, or in combat with an Action. In its special railgun mode, the weapon is incapable of Autofire and Aimed Shots, but damage dealt by this weapon ignores the target's armour entirely if it is lower than SP7. Armour with SP7 or higher is interacted with as normal. Additionally, whenever fired in its railgun mode, a charge is drained from the weapon's eight-shot rechargeable (1 hour) 50eb battery pack in addition to a bullet being fired from the magazine. The battery pack can be reloaded separately from the gun's magazine. If fired in railgun mode without any charges in its battery pack, or without a properly installed battery pack, the weapon fires instead as a typical Excellent Quality Exotic Assault Rifle.
The 15,000eb price point of the weapon assumes that it comes with both of its conversion parts. For each missing part in an AVAR at the time of sale, the price is lowered by 5,000eb. Individual conversion parts and the base weapon are worth 5,000eb when sold alone.

Chadran Arms Jungle Reaper:

The City Reaper's bigger sibling, the Jungle Reaper is in common usage by poorly outfitted militaries.   A Poor Quality Assault Rifle.

Darra Polytechnic Binary:

Darra Polytechnic enter the markets primarily via seafaring nomads importing from the Pacific Rim. The Binary is a classic assault rifle design paired with an undermounted grenade launcher.   A Standard Quality Assault Rifle, preinstalled with a Grenade Launcher Underbarrel.

Eagletech Survivalist:

The Eagletech Survivalist is a combination rifle and crossbow rolled into one impressive piece of kit. The bow components are built into the middle section of the assault rifle giving the weapon the appearance of a larger crossbow. The rifle barrel runs above and parallel to the arrow track, allowing for faster firing. Arrows are loaded directly into the arrow track, which automatically draws them back. The ammo clip for the assault rifle slides into the stock of the weapon to cut down on weight.   The Eagletech Survivalist was originally marketed to hunters and wilderness guides, and it initially sold only modestly. Sales picked up as ammunition shortages struck the northern territories of the Americas, leading more Nomads and other wilderness types to turn to reliable crossbows to solve their lack-of-bullet woes. Nowadays, you can find many of these weapons secondhand floating around the Night Markets.   The Survivalist is an Exotic Combination Assault Rifle and Crossbow. The Assault Rifle mode is incapable of Autofire, only has 10 shots in its magazine, and is fired with the Archery Skill instead of the Shoulder Arms, despite firing bullets. Both modes of this weapon benefit from the weapon's integrated Sniping Scope, and can load Non-Basic Ammunition despite being Exotic Weapons. Incompatible with Magazine Attachments, and cannot be installed into a Popup Mount.

Everest VentureWare SportMaster:

These are fun! I have one, and it's a good time. Great starter rifle. Easy to mod, too, if you've got the parts.   -Molly
An Assault Rifle incapable of Autofire and Suppressive Fire, that can only load Small Game Ammunition

Everest VentureWare SurvivalMaster:

These are nice for backpack carry. Once you get comfortable with dissassembling one, that is. Oh, and be careful not to lose any of the pieces!   -Molly
An Assault Rifle incapable of Autofire and Suppressive Fire, that can only load Small Game Ammunition

Hello Cutie Gun-Gun Friend-Friend:

A working replica of the main character from the cozy Sanroo sports anime "Best Friends Forever Ballistic Range Buddies." Engineer Koshiro Yuzu was forced to work alone on the project under a crushing two-week deadline as a form of workplace bullying. To get back at his superiors, the weapon is a marvel of engineering and bears a citrus-shaped imprint inside the magazine well   An Excellent Quality Assault Rifle. As an Action, a user can install or uninstall a One-Handed Ranged Weapon (that need not be concealable before it's installation) so that it can be successfully concealed without a check within the frame of the assault rifle. The installed weapon can be drawn or stowed without an Action. While the installed weapon is deployed, pulling the trigger of the Assault Rifle fires the installed weapon instead. Attachments on one weapon do not affect the other, and each must be reloaded separately.

Militech Dragon:

When PMC/Security firm Lazarus deploys for mass combat, their troops carry the Militech Dragon. Its lightweight frame makes it especially popular with paratroopers.   An Excellent Quality Assault Rifle.

Militech Mountain Goat Rifle:

A battle rifle aimed at and heavily marketed to working Solos. According to leaked internal documents, after a data-driven overreaction from their marketing department, Militech spared no expense in the Mountain Goat's production to "defend" their market niche from "attacks" being fielded by emerging competitors in the 2,000eb price range.   An Excellent Quality Battle Rifle with a preinstalled Smartgun Link and Sniping Scope.

Militech Ronin:

The Militech Ronin Light Assault was the standard for the US military and Militech troops for decades. There were arguably better weapons available, but the Ronin was easy to use, easy to service, and there were millions of them in military inventories across the world. Even today, the Ronin is a common fixture in the armoury of most Solos.   A Standard Quality Assault Rifle.

Militech Ronin Hyperlight Assault:

A variation of the Militech Ronin Light Assault, the Hyperlight is marketed to security forces who deal primarily with poorly armoured threats. Its low weight makes the rifle easier to control, but decreases the potency of each shot.   An Excellent Quality Assault Rifle, preinstalled with an Extended Magazine. When fired in Single Shot mode, it deals 4d6 damage instead.

ModFire 10X:

Back in the day, the ModFire 10X was going to be Centurion Essentials' next gem in the firearms marketplace. This pistol-turned-SMG-turned-assault rifle came in a lovely back carrying case with all the parts needed to convert it into the right weapon for those times when packing a whole gun cabinet just wasn't practical. It was the perfect weapon for that Exec who wanted to look badass or the Solo who was too indecisive. Inside the included, sleek carrying case a new owner coul dfind the ModFire 10X core, a barrel extension, a foldable stock, and a set of proprietary magazines which partly replace the weapon's firing mechanism when swapped out. The only complaint about the ModFire was how design limitations made it incapable of autofire while in pistol mode. The autofire mode only becomes accessible when the barrel extension is locked into place along with either the SMG or Assault Rifle proprietary magazines. Centurion Essentials claimed that this was to keep the core from overheating and melting the barrel, but insiders claim it was so that customers would need to buy the whole package directly instead of just the parts they wanted on the secondary market. After the 4th Corporate War, the ModFire seemed to fade from store shelves and wholesale distribution. Even still, there are still some older Execs who keep one of these bad choombas under the seat.   The ModFire 10X is an Exotic Heavy Pistol that can be transformed into an Exotic SMG or Exotic Assault Rifle in 1 minute without a Check, assuming the user has access to the weapon's modular parts. The parts all fit nicely in a tasteful foam-lined carrying case.

Pursuit Security Incorporated Crowd Buster:

The Pursuit Security Incorporated Crowd Buster is the leading weapon for crowd control. this assault rifle is equipped with a built-in shrieker, making it great for dispersing large, unruly mobs. The shrieker is located below the rifle barrel and is powered by a standard 50 eb, 8 shot battery pack. Each Crowd Buster comes with a pair of Auto Level Dampening Ear Protectors to protect the user from the ear-damaging effects of firing the shrieker. There have been several lawsuits brought against Pursuit Security Incorporated by people claiming to have lost their hearing due to exposure, but due to the natural noise of city life, those cases tend to get thrown out.   An Exotic Assault Rifle with a unique alternative firing mode. As an Action, the user can make a single shot using the Assault Rifle Range table, which, instead of dealing damage on a hit, forces the target to try to beat a DV15 Resist Torture/Drugs Check. If they fail, they suffer the Damaged Ear critical injury. Whenever this alternative firing mode is used, unless the user has some form of ear protection, they suffer the Damaged Ear critical injury. Included with every Crowd Buster is a pair of Auto Level Dampening Ear Protectors. Using the alternative firing mode does not expend ammunition, but instead drains one shot from the weapon's standard, eight-shot rechargable battery pack.

Sternmeyer M-02 Heavy Rifle:

This is one of the most reliable workhorses I sell. A single drum can take you through an entire gang war if you're lucky. Love how it mints return customers too, because this special kitten is real finicky about its food.   -Woodchipper
An Exotic Assault Rifle incapable of Autofire and Suppressive Fire. It is fired with the Heavy Weapons Skill instead of the Shoulder Arms Skill, and has an 80 shot capacity. This weapon fires its own proprietary tround ammunition, which costs 500 eb for a drum of 80 Armour Piercing shots and is the only type of ammunition this weapon can fire.

Sternmeyer M-04 Variable Assault:

The M-04 Variable Assault by Sternmeyer is a compact multipurpose assault weapon designed for getting the job done quickly. To solve an issue with a previous ultralight prototype, Sternmeyer fit it with an integrated grenade launcher as a counterweight to balance the featherweight bullpup design. The result was a match made in gunsmith heaven, with the grenades loaded via a clip that slides underneath the launcher and the ammunition cartridge loaded into the stock. The M-04 really doesn't need anything else. It's balanced, weighs only 10 poinds, and wrecks just about anything it shoots at. It does have some issues with a "sticky" dual-function trigger, but more than makes up for it in utility.   This is a Poor Quality Exotic Combination Assault Rifle and Grenade Launcher. Both modes of the weapon fire from separate magazines, the Assault Rifle magazine holding 20 bullets, and the Grenade launcher magazine holding 2 grenades. Each magazine must be loaded independantly using a separate Action.   When one mode of the weapon jams, neither mode can be used until an Action is taken to reverse the malfunction. Despite being an Exotic Weapon, the Grenade Launcher can still fire Non-Basic grenades.

Sternmeyer M-95A4 Assault Weapon:

Like almost everything produced by Stenmeyer, the M-95A4 shows off the company's dedication to precision engineering. The design reads as slim and elegant to the eye despite the weapon's heft. Most M-95A4s on the market today came from looters raiding IEC facilities after the Megacorp's collapse.   An Excellent Quality Assault Rifle, preinstalled with a Drum Magazine and Sniping Scope./i]

Stolbovoy ST-5 Assault Rifle:

In the 2020s, Stolbovoy created a weapon that could operate reliably under the most adverse conditions, including heat, cold, mud, dampness, sand and grit, lubricant contamination, and corrosive environments. It isn't a surprise that most ST-5s issued are still in service today.   A Poor Quality Exotic Assault Rifle with a 20 shot capacity. While jammed, firing the weapon has a 50% chance of still working as normal, which will also clear the weapon's jam. If you lose the coin flip, the weapon fails to fire, and your Action is used, but the jam is still cleared. Despite being an exotic weapon, it is still capable of loading Non-Basic Ammunition. Incompatible with Magazine Attachments.

Superchrome® Glam Rifle:

The Assault Rifle of choice for the truly chromed! The poster child of Centurion Essentials fashion-forward firearms. no expense was spared in making this rifle the shinest killing machine on the market.   An Exotic Assault Rifle that can fire non basic ammo. When worn openly, the user gets a +2 to their Wardrobe and Style Skill Checks. This bonus only applies once, and won't combine with other weapons that grant a bonus to Wardrobe and Style.
