Oduth

Oduth is a large island located southwest of Autria. There are multiple, smaller islands that comprise the landmass, including Garby Haven, Triburg Island, and Nor'rial Isle.

Geography

One Continent, Two Halves

Oduth is dominated by a pair of mountain ranges in both the northern and southern halves. The northern mountain range is known as the Mahorior Highlands, with Glouterel Pinnacle towering over it at 22,469 feet above sea level. The snowmelt coming from these peaks also serves as the source of several rivers that feed the civilizations of the lowlands below.

The southern half, where the Ice-Crowned Mountain rests, overlooks the Truris Kingdom from the north. This mountain has served as a central point of conflict over the years among southerners, most recently being lost by the dwarves of Grim Knurl in a war several decades ago.

Ancient Volcano

The area known as the Necrotic Caldera, located northeast of the Ice-Crowned Mountain, was once an active volcano, or so the scholars and academics claim. The temperatures down in the basin are typically higher than those of the surrounding caldera, and toxic fumes emerging from the swamp in the center have taken the life of many an suspecting adventurer.
