House Leandos of Horn Valley
Leandor is one of the five Lordships that united into the Kingdom of Eleonis in 612 CE under the leadership of House Leandos. House Leandos was one of the oldest noble families in all of Leanor with its seat in the city of Leandor, located in eastern Eleonis on the shore of the Vadion. Nowadays it is not known, when exactly the House was founded.
House Leandos was the first to ever hold the title of King of Eleonis and has held it several times during the history of the Kingdom. Especially in the first few centuries, the title was rather strongly disputed among the five Lordships, which led to multiple military altercations within Eleonis, during which every one of the Lordships held the title at least once. Before the Great War, the political situation in Eleonis was stable and peaceful under House Leandos for almost 200 years.
The last member, Micael Leandos, Lord of Leandor and King of Eleonis, died in the wake of the Great War, a war in which he also lost his only son and heir. Therefore, in 1115 CE, House Leandos was disbanded, but Micael's bloodline continues to this day, because his three daughters, Daniela, Ilea and Beatha were married to the crown princes of Lupear and Aguilear and to the son of eleonian General Riarcos Angeleos. After the Great War, the Lordship of Leandor was split between Eleonis, Lupear and Aguilear. The largest part of the Lordship and the city of Leandor remained part of Eleonis.
