Selenia
Selenia is one of the five founding lordships in the kingdom of Eleonis. It is located on the western coast of the eleonian mainland. It is bordered by the Western Sea in the west and the Silver Sea in the south. The nothern border is formed by the Silver Mountains and the river Dadeon separates the lordship from the lordship of Angeleor. The capital city, which is also called Selenia, is located at the mouth of the Dadeon.
The lordship has been governed by House Selenis since it was founded and is currently led by Lord Ealdir Selenis. Selenia is mostly known for two things, its trade and its navy. The latter makes up a large portion of the whole eleonian navy. Historically, while working as one for purposes that involved the interest of the kingdom, the selenian portion of the eleonian navy occasionally acted seperate from the whole navy, sometimes even against other eleonian Lords.
The kingdom of Eleonis is much more unified these days, so the two institutions have almost entirely melted into one solid military formation. Now, nearly every sailor in the eleonian navy was trained in the city of Selenia. There still is a little bit of rivalry between sailors from Selenia and those from other lordships, mainly those from Angeleor. The rivalry between the selenian and angelean sailors is mostly based on an old grudge between the lordships, specifically related to the events of the Ten-Day War in 825 CE.

Goods produced in the Silver Mountains such as silver jewellery and dragonsteel and fish are mostly sold in the markets of Selenia. This is mostly due to its location on the shore of the Silver Sea and the mouth of the Dadeon, on which goods from the Silver Mountains can easily be transported there. Other produce and things like fabrics and spices can also be found in the selenian markets.
