Talia Cavebear

Talia earned her prestige by saving some of the Elders of her clan from a group of plains lions, due to her quick thinking and bravery. She is known to be clever as well as quick witted. There are times, however, when her wit is biting and she has made enemies because of it. At the age of 16 she met , whom she thought was much older than her, believing him to be at least 19-years-old, possibly older, due to his stature and the company he kept.
Talia and her distant cousin, and best friend, Dathania quickly arranged with one of the grandmothers of their clan to be engaged to Cyren. They agreed to travel with him and his group of heroes for one year, after which they were to return to Hallü lands and attend the Great Gathering and be married. However, this ended up taking two years due to Cyren and his companions' obligations and the Valkran civil war.
Once married they were granted the honour of starting their own clan, with Talia and Dathania being the clan matrons. The chose their name, because of the constant companion to their trio, Grizz, a cave bear that Cyren rescued when it was a cub.
Talia is also a warrior, an expert horse rider, and a master archer, despite her having learned to like the finer parts of Valkran court society.

History

Talia met Dathania when they were children. They are presumed to be distant cousins, due to certain family ties. However, because of the marriage system (multiple spouses) in their culture, there is a possibility that they have no actual blood relationship. Whatever the case, it would be distant. They met each summer at the Great Gathering of the Clans and would spend it all together.
At the age of fourteen they were permitted to spend the next year with Dathania's clan (Plain's Lion) on the condition that the following year Talia's clan hosted Dathania with them. And they have been together ever since.

Commonalities & Shared Interests

They recently both married a man from outside the Hallü clans, and started their own clan (Cave Bear) and moved to Bear Keep.
They are both hunters by trade and have often hunted together as youths.

Talia had a miscarriage at the age of 18, she refused to tell  because she felt it would upset him too much, as she was only a few weeks pregnant at the time, and he did not know, yet.
