Sola's Vanguard

Sola's Vanguard was the name given to group of Somercrag Knights who accompanied ser Sola Somercrag, most prominently during The Irogonie Aggression and in the chain of events leading up to The Ambush on the Kingsroad. Most members also served ser Tyon Cray in The Revolution of 441KS, either accompanying him personally, or being given influential roles in the other forces under his command.

• Doncan Buckhaill, then serving as Sola's Squire. He was knighted for his actions during this campaign.

• ser Boggs Leonhart, carrying The Royal Standard of House Somercrag and his squire, Milah.

• ser Alysia Tallman, ser Sola's Sworn Sword.

• ser Rodnar Blackbar, third child of House Blackbar of Castle Blackbar and his squire, Corrad.

• ser Newall Foxworth, at the time a hedge knight. He earned the moniker 'The Hero of Starfield' for his actions in this time.

• ser Barnabus Bridewell, a hedge knight, and his squires, his cousins Dannys and Teressa.

• ser Bramble Epper, the twin brother of Lady Branwyn Epper, and his squire and nephew Robart Epper.

• ser Prestan Greydall, heir to The Peak, his squire Krestenne Darklyn, and ser Arlow Teeze, his sworn sword.

• ser Berthold Durbach, heir to Felweather Keep, and his squire Dwyer.

• ser Darris Blackmyre, heir to Blackmyre and ser Berthold's cousin, and his squire Gurnar.

• Mister Robin Wheatflow, a talented Barber-Surgeonne.

Investigating Disturbance in the Hayford Duchy

Following a riot at the Royal Court in Bayglen over the news from The Hayford Duchy implicating House Hayford of Haycastle in attacks on its own Vassals, ser Sola called for any knights present in the capital willing to join her in riding to Allerton to confront Duke Brennar Hayford.

• The formation was once again led by ser Sola Somercrag, accompanied again by ser Boggs carrying her standard and her sworn sword ser Alysia Tallman.

• Alvar Skanler, the younger brother of Lady Jaenis Skanler served as ser Sola's Squire.

• ser Doncan Buckhaill and his elder brother ser Arthur Buckhaill, along with their squires Rodnam Buckhaill and Lisbeth.

• sers Rodnar Blackbar, Barnabus Bridewell, Bramble Epper, Prestan Greydall, Arlow Teeze, Berthold Durbach and Darris Blackmyre had remained in Sola's company since the war.

• ser Tyon Cray and his squire Jed Wynch.
