In 443KS, following an invitation from the Royal Council of The Kingdom of Somercrag, ser Bredgit rode at the head of a Chapter of Knights to establish a Chapter of the The Order of the Hippogryph in The Darklyn Duchy, but became embroiled in the conflict between The Royal Coalition and House Darklyn on the side of House Darklyn of Darklyn Point. At the The Battle of Blackmyre Castle her formation was defeated and scattered by the forces of House Southbay of Southbay, with her banner being captured by Rydan Oldflowers. She returned to The Kingdom of Rotheval in disgrace.
In an attempt to ease any tensions between them ser Allon Southbay invited ser Bredgit to Tourney at Southbay 443KS. Whilst there she connected with ser Rydan Oldflowers, who had been knighted for his defeat of her. They bonded over this shared history and she accepted his invitation to remain in The City of Southbay to court him.
