The Barrowlands, located in the southwestern outskirts of the plains, are a damp, drizzly expanse dotted with the crumbling ruins of ancient tombs and burial mounds. The eerie silence of this region is only occasionally interrupted by the howling winds and the distant calls of scavenging beasts.
