Spyre is a province shrouded in mystery and darkness, where the ghost of a once powerful empire still lingers. The province is surrounded by steep, imposing mountains, which once protected it from the outside world. However, this natural barrier also served as a prison for the people of Spyre, trapping them within its borders as a great plague swept through the land, leaving death and despair in its wake. The once thriving city of Fogholt and the stronghold Ilzinarth now lie abandoned and forgotten, their streets empty and their buildings crumbling. But amidst the ruins, a new evil has taken root: criminal gangs have taken over the fertile fields and use them to grow vast amounts of the banned yandu plant, a natural narcotic berry that only adds to the province's dark reputation. It's a place where the echoes of a great empire's downfall can still be heard, and where new danger lurks in every shadow.
