Zinth

The province of Zinth is a sprawling expanse of vibrant life and ancient history, the crown jewel of the Incantum Forest. Known as the most bountiful region in Galfin, Zinth teems with creatures both mundane and magical. Fae beings flit through the southern woods, their presence unmatched in any other part of the world. Treants roam solemnly, their ancient roots entwined with the stories of centuries, while animals of all shapes and sizes weave through the dense underbrush and sun-dappled clearings.   To the north, the towering elder trees form a labyrinth of arboreal architecture. Connected by rope bridges and shaded by giant leaf-canopied homes, these living fortresses are inhabited by the Vespin elves. Stewards of Zinth’s balance, the elves ensure the forest thrives in harmony, their lives devoted to maintaining nature’s delicate equilibrium.   At the heart of Zinth stands the legendary Botanoron, a colossal world tree formed from the resting spirits of ancestral Oakenfolk. Its immense form rises high above the forest canopy. The Botanoron pulses with the collective energy of the forest, its influence stretching to every blade of grass and leaf in Zinth. Even the mighty treants are dwarfed by its grandeur, revering it as the spiritual anchor of their kind.   Zinth is not merely a forest; it is a living entity, its lifeblood coursing through the beings that call it home. Guided by the Rootfather Birchbreaker, leader of the Summer Elves of Eleyond, the province flourishes. Under his watch, the province's sacred groves, hidden lagoons, and bustling settlements—like Eleyond, Ullana, and Auburn—remain protected from external threats.   Among its flora and fauna, Zinth is home to mystical species such as the glowing Illuminous Fern, predatory Vine Spiders, and the sentinel Skyreach Oak. Moonlight Vines illuminate the forest during twilight hours, while fae deer roam serenely, embodying the spirit of the woods.
