Taesi is a small village nestled in the west of Conferus, on the edge of the Marshlands. The village is surrounded by dense forests and is known for its strong ties to the elven capital of Eleyond. The villagers of Taesi are proud and fierce, with a reputation for producing some of the best guards in the land. The Deathnettle, the elite guard faction of Eleyond, recruit heavily from Taesi, and many of the village's young men and women eagerly join the ranks. The village is known for its rigorous training and discipline, with many of the guards being trained in the art of stealth and combat from a young age. The village also has a strong tradition of archery and many of the guards are skilled marksmen. The village is also home to a small shrine dedicated to Kishar, the Tree Mother, where the guards go to pray for guidance and protection before departing for Eleyond.
