Glassk
A world of jagged peaks and treacherous valleys, Glassk is a land where a single misstep can send you tumbling down a sheer cliff face. Here, the hardy Highland Dwarves ply their trade, chipping away at the mountain rock to extract precious minerals and gems. But danger lurks in every direction, with rockslides, avalanches, and tunnels that lead deep into the earth.
Glassk's cooler climate and rugged mountains are home to coniferous trees like pine, spruce, and fir, which thrive in the rocky terrain with their evergreen needles and cones. Shrubs such as mountain laurel, heather, and rhododendron also flourish, offering food and shelter to wildlife.
At higher elevations, hardy alpine plants like edelweiss, gentian, and mountain avens survive in the harsh conditions, while violets, primroses, and lupines bring vibrant color to the lower plateaus and mountain bases, attracting pollinators and feeding local fauna.
The region's wildlife includes mountain goats, which navigate the cliffs with ease, grazing on grasses and herbs. Wolves, organized and efficient hunters, pursue deer, elk, and small mammals in packs. Eagles soar above, preying on smaller animals and scavenging carrion, while deer roam the slopes and valleys, adding life and grace to the rugged landscape.
