Igneous Basin
The Igneous Basin lies nestled in the heart of Flarik, a volatile region of the Firefang Jags, where the air is heavy with the scent of sulfur and the ground pulses with heat. This natural lake is fed by molten springs deep within the mountain, sending streams of warm water cascading down the rugged slopes. The basin is encased in layers of hardened volcanic rock, its surface a stark mosaic of blackened stone and steaming fissures. The landscape glows faintly under the sun, with veins of magma visible through cracks, a constant reminder of the fiery power lurking below.
The area is as perilous as it is mesmerizing. Unpredictable steam pockets erupt without warning, spewing scalding vapour that can sear flesh and shatter stone. The Cindralkin of Flarik consider the Igneous Basin sacred, a living symbol of their connection to fire and earth. Rituals are performed here during eclipses.
