Fairies
Fairies, sometimes called fay, fae, fey, fair folk, or faeries, are a tiny and chaotic species that are native to the Feywild.
Fairies are rarely found far from the Feywild or under the command of an Archfey. Those found in the Material Plane can either be found living near Fey portals or are out on errands for their masters.
Fairies are servants of the Fey, specifically the Seelie and Unseelie courts. Seelie Faeries are commonly tricksters, they are mischievous, enjoy playing pranks and causing misfortune for their own amusement. Unseelie Fairies are far more nefarious in their pranks, enjoying harm and misfortune, they enjoy kidnapping and leading children into the deep woods.
Appearance:
Fairies usually resemble tiny, child-like elves with pointed ears and insectoid wings. Older Fairies on the other hand usually have an insectoid-like appearance, with citenous bodies, large black eyes and long spindly limbs. This appearance is usually hidden by a glamour. Complexion: Fairy skin tones can range from grey, yellow and green to a light pale complexion to a dark brown one. Hair: Fairy hair ranges from black, brown, blonde and ginger to green, pink and purple. Eyes: Fairies tend to have brown, green or black coloured eyes.Maturity:
Fairies are ageless while within the Feywild, birthed fully formed and do not show signs of age. Fairies outside of the Feywild can survive for around 10 Years.Reproduction:
Fairies do not reproduce. They are magically born from budding flowers and trees within the Feywild.
