Bugbear
Bugbear are a species of humanoids that originate from the Land of Faerie, they are a member of the Goblinoid family, sharing a common ancestor with Goblins and Hobgoblins.
Bugbear are usually tall, with powerful builds. They are the most reclusive of Goblinoids, they are rarely seen in multicultural humanoid settlements and can most commonly be found in wild places, living in small, primitive Bugbear communities and avoiding contact with other peoples. These Bugbear tribes are known to be proficient hunters, specialising in stealth tactics to catch their prey.
Like all Goblinoids, Bugbear often face prejudice due to their association with violent Goblinoid tribes, though evidence suggests that Bugbear tribes rarely attack unless provoked, preferring to stay hidden, avoiding contact with outsiders.
Bugbear can be found all over Exorsia, primarily living among Bugbear tribes deep in the woodlands, particularly within Elderan, but some can be found living in multicultural humanoid settlements. Bugbear can also be found as part of large Goblinoid warbands, particularly within Terrasmus where they serve under Hobgoblin warlords.
