Centaurs

Centaurs are a species of horse like humanoids that can be found all across the world, though they can primarily be found in the Feywild.   On Exorsia Centaurs can be found in nomadic tribes in Terrasmus or Soliemia, and members of druidic communities in Elderan. These communities can range from aggressive warbands, simple hunter gatherers, to peaceful naturalists. Centaurs tend to stick to the wilds, finding it difficult to live around two-legged folks and in cities where they can’t move around freely.   Many Centaurs worship nature Gods like Artemis and Demeter, while others worship Dionysus, their Divine Patron. This following is more common in the Feywild where these Centaurs are well known for the damage they cause during their revelries.

Appearance:

Centaurs have the quadrupedal body of a horse and the torso, arms and head of a humanoid protruding from where a horse's neck would be.   A Centaurs upper body resembles an Elf with their pointed ears. But unlike Elves, Centaurs are also known to sport body hair and facial hair, especially male Centaurs.   A Centaurs lower body either resembles a horse or a deer.   Complexion: Centaur skin tones are similar to Humans, ranging from a light pale complexion to a dark brown one.   Hair: Centaur hair ranges from black, brown, blonde to ginger, commonly turning gray or white with age.   Eyes: Centaurs tend to have brown, blue or green coloured eyes.   Body: Centaur bodies range from tones of grey, black or brown, usually with spots or stripes of another colour.

Maturity:

Centaurs reach adulthood around the age of 20.

Reproduction:

Centaurs reproduce similarly to Humans. The gestation period for a Centaur is approximately 12 months.
