Vespians

Vespains are a species of tiny fairy-like people native Exorsia. Vespians have barbed spurs that protrude out the back of their feet. These spurs have a poisonous sting that can even debilitate even large creatures.   Vespains are commonly associated with Fairies due to their appearance, though they lack the natural fey magic associated with Fairies. That being said it is largely speculated that Vespians are descended from Fairies.   Vespains only have a short life, this results in them always being active, with no concept of relaxing or taking their time. They are commonly ambitious, wanting to make their mark on the world before they die.   Vespians are typically found in remote forests and jungles, such as the Eternal Grove in Elderan, where they live in small villages built around the trees. These settlements are usually wary of “big people”, and sometimes outright hostile towards them. This hatred has been passed down through generations, with legends claiming that the “big people'' once tried to wipe out the Vespians.   On rare occasions a Vespian will leave their village to travel out into the world in search of adventure, often finding it overwhelming.

Vespians are tiny in size, resembling elves with beautiful dragonfly-like wings that protrude from their backs and barred spurs that produce from the back of their feet.   Complexion: Vespian skin tones range from a light pale complexion to a dark brown one, or even a greenish colour.   Hair: Vespian hair colour ranges from black, brown, blonde to ginger, commonly turning gray or white with age.   Eyes: Vespians tend to have jet black eyes.

Maturity:

Vespians mature much faster than humans, reaching adulthood by the age of 1.

Reproduction:

Vespians hatch from eggs. A Vespian can produce a cluster of between 2-3 eggs which are then wrapped in a beautiful cocoon. The eggs hatch in approximately 2 months.
