Changelings

Changelings are a species of shapeshifters from the Feywild that can take any humanoid form at will, not to be confused with Doppelgangers.
Changelings are not naturally born, they are mysteriously created within the Feywild to be substituted for kidnapped infant children.
Most Changelings grow up not knowing their origins and are discarded once their true identity is realised. Changelings are then forced to live their lives in secret, for fear of prejudice, never getting close to anyone for fear that they will realise what they truly are. Many Changelings worship the God Morpheus, the Divine Patron of Shapeshifters.

Appearance:

While not disguised Changelings are genderless in appearance, white in colour with mucus-like skin, white hair and large black eyes.
Complexion: Changelings have white, mucus-like skin.
Hair: Changelings exclusively have white hair.
Eyes: Changelings exclusively have pure black eyes.

Maturity:

Changelings mature faster than humans, reaching adulthood by the age of 10. While a Changeling can transform to conceal their age, it affects them similarly to Humans.

Reproduction:

It is very uncommon for Changelings to reproduce and they can not reproduce with other Changelings. For a Changeling to produce offspring they must be the ones to carry the child during development, though it is very rarely successful with many Changelings lacking the genetic consistency to reproduce.
In the rare chance a child was conceived the Changeling can not change their form for risk of losing the baby. The foetus will commonly develop at the same rate as the species the Changeling is transformed into and the offspring has a high chance to be a Changeling themselves.
