Morpheus - The Faceless One

Morpheus is the God of Dreams and patron of Shapeshifters. They are an ominous and mysterious deity that creates and shapes the dreams of mortals.   Morpheus can usually be found in Oneiroi, the land of Dream, a part of Elysium, which they rule alongside their brother, the God Hypnos.   Morpheus is also known to send mortals terrifying nightmares as divine punishments, usually at the request of other deities. Because of this Morpheus is usually only referred to by epithets, such as “the Faceless One” or “Brother Dream” as to avoid invoking them and drawing their attention.   Morpheus is not worshipped outside of specific cults. Though some may beseech Morpheus for sweet dreams or to send nightmares to their enemies.   Domains: Dreams, Illusions and Nightmares.   Symbols: Poppy Seeds and Ravens.

Apperance

Morpheus is commonly depicted as a genderless hooded and cloaked figure, instead of a face they have an uncanny visage that is constantly shifting, like a mirage. They are sometimes also depicted with large black feathered wings.
