Elemental Planes

There are a variety of elemental planes connecting to and existing alongside Emynea, one for each Aspect of the Erlithmanil and Aethid. All racial magic connects to these planes, accessing or pulling from them. Each and every physical instance of an aspect acts as a portal or window to their corresponding plane and each plane consists entirely of its aspect. Every plane is unique and many are quite dangerous. According to most theories, these planes are the souls and minds of the Erlithmanil themselves, their true core once their physical bodies have been stripped away. A division of an Erlithmanil's mind, a splinter of their consciousness which is tied to a specific aspect, exists within each plane and is the personification of that aspect. Each is the master and consciousness of their plane, bending their domain to their whim and are physically comprised of their aspect. They are considered the ultimate expression of the aspect and each can be quite temperamental. Some consider other aspects of their element as siblings but ultimately they are all one piece of an Erlithmanil's whole mind.
