Death Before Dishonor!    Basic Rules      Disgrace

There are three ways to become disgraced:

1. a player receives a battle result of 5 or 6 when putting down unrest as Provincial Military Governor (see Notes to Appointment Tables, page 63
2. a player is unable to pay his debts when they are due; or
3. a player fights a duel with a member of the same Regiment.

A character who is disgraced must join a Frontier Regiment until:

1. he becomes a hero (Mentioned in Despatches), if he failed to put down unrest;
2. he is able to pay his debts, if unable to do so earlier; or
3. for one full year from the time of the duel.
