Railroad Properties
The area astride the tracks and along the river is the main rail yard, crowded with sidings, small warehouses, storage sheds, an old water tower, and sided freight cars. Hoboes occasionally put up for a night in the yard, daring railroad guards who are notoriously violent. The New Jerusalem Police patrol here frequently.
This area is also patrolled regularly by Sarge and Luey, two tough, hard-nosed German Shepherds. They brook no foolishness and are not likely to be in a talkative mood. They are not adverse to letting animals pass through and pass along, but they will not put up with any meddling with the vehicles, tracks, or equipment.
