Suite 1D: Dr. G.R. Feldman, Dentist
Dr. Arvin Feldman is a highly skilled, well educated, and dedicated dentist, but a very tiny person. Arvin stands only an inch over four feet. He is not very strong, but his hands are very powerful. He is a competent oral surgeon who does emergency reconstructive work without needing to refer to a Boston specialist.
His size can occasionally become an advantage when drilling a far back tooth. Children especially love to see "Little Doctor F," and he likes children very much (and is forever patient).
He lives in an expensive custom-remodeled Victorian home on North French Street.
Shirley Cotton is a dental nurse working for Dr. Feldman in the Tower Professional Building, and she is trained in the use of gas anesthetics as a result. She is a skilled nurse, but knows she will never become a dentist until attitudes change, and she is relieved that Dr Feldman keeps their relationship strictly professional. Shirley is also a member of Miss Andrew's Social Parlour and has become surer of herself as a result; the dentist just sees this as increased competence in his nurse.
