Suite 7A-D WJM 1190 AM Radio Station & Studios

In 1930, New Jerusalem got its own radio station, WJM 1190 AM. Owned by the zealous Clem Pierson, it uses the radio tower atop Blaine's Port Head as a transmitter. The transmitter now hosts other radio and transmission antennae, as well as a Coast Guard LORAN navigation beacon. WJM became the official broadcaster for Missituk University sports and carries all football, basketball, baseball, and hockey games. Each October 30-31, WJM broadcasts live from the Sci-Fi Drive-In.   WJM takes up the entire top floor of the Tower Professional Building comprising broadcasting booths, offices, broadcast studios, record and tape storage, and facilities for the deejays and other workers. Currently, WJM has a broad deejay driven format that crosses multiple genres of music, as well as live music, shows, news, community programs, and more. A disturbing anomaly harries WJM transmissions - during electrical storms out by the Blaine's Port Head tower, regular programming will fade out to be replaced with strange signals, some from decades ago.   Karl Pierson, station manager, is 32 and eager to make the station a success. Having grown up in the broadcasting business, Pierson attended MU for three years as a business major but dropped out to take over the company after his father's sudden passing.
