Potter's Field - 945 N Garrison Street
New Jerusalem's old "pauper's grave"; it is the traditional resting place of indigents, transients, and those without friends or next of kin.
In the 1950s it is almost completely filled up - at least it appears that way from the surface.
It is a lonely place, virtually abandoned at sundown. Odd noises can be heard sometimes late at night, but no one seems to stay around long enough to identify or locate their origins. Even the groundskeepers feel an eerie, but unreal, presence in the lot.
Donald Manning: Donald is a gravedigger, though he’s now mostly retired. These days, he only works at Potter’s Field, rather than at any of the other, more upmarket, cemeteries; the comparatively low number of burials that the cemetery gets means that Donald is hardly stretched in his work these days. He also keeps a bit of an eye on the place, watching out for vandals, but will never visit after dark. Donald will be reluctant to explain why if asked, but he has seen some kind of creatures active there.
