Whitelisting Guide
Whitelisting Guide
Introduction
‒ An in-depth guide to whitelisting at Crossroads
Note You do not need to read through all of this to whitelist. This guide is here to help you through the whitelisting process. In order to whitelist a character on Crossroads RP, please join the discord, read through the rules, and utilize the ticket system where you’ll find a character application form.
The whitelist tickets can be found in the Whitelists channel, on our discord.
In order to role play at Crossroads, you must be familiar with our Rules, and follow them.
Our whitelisting requires you to be familiar with the Setting, the Race you are trying to apply for, Class and subclass you give to your character, and the Professions that you choose. All of this information can be found on their respective pages here on the website.
While there are more Guides available, when you are ready for whitelisting, please make sure that the race you are applying for is open to be applied for. This information can be found here:

‒ How to fill out the form
Next, Fill out this form, and PASTE your answers from that form into the ticket. We do not click on any links that players provide in forms, and you will be asked to delete them.Discord Name

- Does not match pop culture, media, lore characters in Forgotten Realms.
Race
Please make sure that the race you are applying for is open to be applied for. This information can be found in the whitelist ticket channel There might be announcements made for limited races being opened.
Players also should refer to their Race page for appearance and roleplay guidelines when writing their applications. If you have questions about lore or whitelisting, you are welcome to open a Lore Inquiry or Other Whitelist Question ticket.

Alignment
Your character's alignment must match their backstory, class, and race.
Divine classes must be within 1 step of their deity (i.e. a cleric of Selune must be Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, or Chaotic Neutral). For more information on deity alignment, refer to the Deities & Domains page.
Malicious races start as an evil alignment.
Deity
Deities play a major role in Forgotten Realms lore, and choosing the right one is important for a character. Not all classes are required to choose a deity, but classes with faith as a primary part of their flavor and mechanics should use the following guide.
- Clerics, Paladins, and Zealot Barbarians (see below) are required choose a deity to associate with the character.
- That information can be found on the Deities & Domains page.
- You may only pick ONE deity. Can worship others, but a character's power is being given by only one deity.
- Your Deity must make sense with class. A character cannot choose a class or subclass that would be in conflict with their deity's alignment or values.

Expert Allowance
If you are trying to use the expert allowance, let us know in your whitelist ticket. You will need to open an RPR Assistance ticket after your character whitelist is approved, and they will handle the rest. The Whitelist Helpers
Each ticket will be handled by one Whitelist Helper, but it is common for multiple whitelist helpers to help especially in the case of time zones, and not wanting tickets to sit.Do not ping the staff when you are completed with your form. Someone will get to you as soon as possible. There might be delays if there are a lot of tickets.
This Whitelist Helper will check to make sure your character’s name hasn’t been used, and everything has been filled out correctly. They will also make sure your backstory is lore accurate, and will look over your character’s appearance to make sure those are accurate to the race, and realistic.
You may be asked to provide screenshots of certain sliders during this process.
Please understand that Whitelist Helpers are volunteers, and that it is an entire team that goes over the tickets. They’re also human. Please try to be patient. Whitelist Helpers are there to help you prepare things.
Once everything is checked, your ticket is then handed over to the judges for approval.
Don’t be shy about asking questions. Whitelist helpers are here to help you.
