PLAYER TRADING PRICE CAP
To help prevent material inflation and keep the player economy healthy, all player-to-player sales of raw and refined materials are subject to a price ceiling.Players may not sell gathered or refined materials to other players for more than 150% of the listed Merchant buy value for that item.
Example: An item that costs 100 silver could only be sold to another player for a maximum of 150 silver.
The Merchant buy value for each material is listed on its corresponding profession page and serves as the baseline reference for pricing.
This rule applies to all materials, whether raw or refined, and is intended to ensure that trading with other players remains beneficial while preventing extreme price inflation. Players are free to sell materials below this threshold, barter, or negotiate bundled trades, but prices may not exceed the stated cap.
This restriction does not apply to items that cannot be bought or sold by Merchants to NPCs such as Armor and Weapons.
Repeated or intentional violations of this pricing rule may be considered exploitation.
