Domain Notes

  This should help give some handles to grab for writing this article. Think of the Domain as the layer beneath the mortal City Ward. I have included some names and places. Some good for feeding and some not so good. If a reference has an article block link it should definitely be included explain and mentioned as it will be important to the character/player. The domain should read like a travel brochure for a new Kindred that just enters the city. This should give them snap shots of the important details. This is also the document a new player of this would read.
  The purpose of this article is to introduce a new vampire / vampire player to the domain of his clan or covenant. This article should highlight important locations within the domain for the vampires and why they are important to the vampires. Does a location make for easy feeding? Does a location have rumors, gossip or easy access to resources for the vampires? Is it a social hub giving access to a variety of mortals? It it a danger or unwelcome to strangers? While a brief line or two, or description is fine each location within the vampire domain will be linked in its own separate article. Why does this location matter to vampires.
  The content should follow the format as presented below, as this is the previous format and will be the future format for domains. If you see a burning need for a section in the domains that I have not included let me know.

City Ward

 
  This needs a rewrite.   One of two markets in Ptolus, the North Market is known for its permanent stalls, open-air stalls wagons, carts and even tents.   Many lifelong Ptolus residents call the North Market simply “the Market,” while they call the South Market the “South Market.” The North Market, which centers more or less around the North Gate, attracts farmers and others from north of town with goods to sell. Ptolus residents themselves conduct a fair bit of commerce here in open markets and shops. One of the busiest commercial areas, Market Street, runs through the heart of the North Market. The district is bounded by the cliffs of Rivergate on the west, the wall of the Necropolis on the east, the city wall on the north, and Golden Elm Way on the south.   Those interested in the technology of the Empire should check out the Smoke Shop, and shoppers can always take a break and have a drink at the Red Stallion Pub.

Domain Sanctum

  Sarko and Malik have worked their way into the Torbrin family allowing the Mekhet to eventually take over almost all aspects of the Torbrin Estate, most of the family and their shipping business. This give the Mekhet their niche of safety, communication and commerce to blend into the mortal landscape.
 
 

Domain Lord

  Ruiz is a Kindred Vampire of Vecna, sired into the Mekhet Clan, chose to join the Order of the Dragon, a Family Elder and sits on the Council of Elders leading The Shadow War in Ptolus City. Ruez has one god and one tool, Vecna is his god and information is his tool. To Ruiz all decisions fall before the altar of information and secrets, figuring out what others don't want discovered is his true power. Then deciding how to leverage that power. He leads the Mekhet Kindred Vampires within Ptolus wield his powers of shadow and subtly.
 
True power is information, and using that information to pull the strings behind those in power and there is no need to be in the spotlight to hold the reins of power.

Points of Blood

Blood Halls

  On the Eastern end of North Market and just to the South is Midtown Ward, but more importantly the Northern portion of Midtown on this side of the Kings River is the Elysium. The Daeva Clan thought to grasp the largest ward for their machinations, however the Elders in their wisdom selected Northern Midtown for the location of the Blood Halls and the Elysium. They have also established the Blood Halls within the remnants of the Uncouth Theater a broken-down building avoided by mortals. It is a derelict theater that has seen much better days, but currently, it is kept in such a state to ward off curious mortals and keep its important function beyond praying eyes. The council of Elders holds court here as each new arrived Kindred must step in front of them to be presented to the city. The Blood Halls is well protected by elder disciplines and blood sorcery.
   

Cacophony Whisper

  The rhythm of Wamberts fish cleaver mirrors the pulse of information that travels through this busy mortal hub. The visitors peak and ebb throughout the day and well past twilight into the night shouting their request and positioning to make purchases. This process resembles an organized mob surrounding an unaware prey, but Wambert handles each with the same skill he managed a successful fishing vessel. Even if he does not have what is requested he has alternatives and recommendations. The Mekhet use this hub of activity as their whisper within their domain providing a means to leave a message that they will get quickly. Each of the Mekhet passes by and checks this location multiple times before sunrise.
 
 

Torbrin Shipping Office

  A remote location that we use to keep our fingers on the pulse of the city. The shipping office is a hub of Torbrin Trading and the Torbrin Dock Warehouse.

Church of the Lawgiver

  Yet one more presence of Lothian, which we are less excited about. The constant presence of Lothian everywhere in the city, especially within the North Market should be considered one of the greatest dangers to our priorities and they should be avoided.
 

Three Gold Pear

  The Three Pears is another halfling inn similar to the Kenderfoot Hearth in the Guild Ward. The Three Golden Pears is not connected to the Kenderfoot and it is much smaller, but keep in mind most of the non-human races tend to stick together and not as open as humans.
 

Wondrous Tattoos

  This one could be a mixed blessing. The allure of magic tattoos may spark your ageless experiences but just a reminder, magic tattoos are administered by a mage. In this case a male gnome named Anageo Quigg.
