Hub: Skills and Languages
A skill is a faucet of a character, or creature, within this game. As such, there are many kinds of skills, and skills themselves open up avenues for talents and other uses within an adventure. For more exact details on how skills work, look at Rule: Skills, and for Languages
There are two kinds of skills in CHASE. Primary Skills and Secondary Skills. Languages are considered secondary skills.
Primary Skills are essential, game-changing skills that are difficult to acquire (usually only by using feats or talents), but cover a wide range of the game and how they support or alter play. Secondary skills are non-essential skills, but can be learned over the course of the game. They are not limited in number and, as a result, add nuance to each individual character who wishes to use them. Languages are another facet, like secondary skills, and can be learned over the course of an adventure if time permits.
All Primary and Secondary Skills give a character access to various skill talents. All of which can be seen below.
