Ysoki is the base language of the Ratfolk of Golarion, sharing the same namesake as the language itself. Is the original form of Rattonja, sharing many similarities with it and other ratfolk languages. Some even trace the roots down to the point of minute dialectic differences due to region, world, and different cultural background.
As it is a root language, one can safely learn Ysoki and understand bits of other ratfolk language, even replacing them if the setting allows. A GM may impose a penalty if they want to be granular (something like a +5 to any difficulty involving the language), but it is not needed.
