Gather Information

You know how to canvass local markets, taverns, and other gathering places to learn about a specific individual or topic. Doing so helps your party explore or find what you need without needing to be too perceptive. During a Swift Rest or similar time (such as during a Chase or exploration phase), you may spend your time looking for a specific subject, describing them by appearance or name or other factors. You (or an ally) then Seek for that specific entity. Instead of a Perception roll, however, you may use either Diplomacy or Knowledge: Society. Instead of 30 ft + 5 per Perception, the range of this special Seek Action is 1,000 ft + 100 per character level.

Prerequisites Proficiency in Diplomacy or Knowledge: Society.
