| Read Lips | You can read lips of others nearby who you can clearly see. If you can see a creature's mouth, you can automatically make out what they are saying. The language read must be one that you know. This includes if a creature is speaking the Verbal part of an ability or giving an otherwise hidden message (either whispering or using the Message spell). This does not automatically identify the spell, but can be used in conjuction with features and abilities that can recognize magic (such as...well, Recognize Magic). |
