Paced Healing

You can quicken or slow your ability to heal others, though there may be risk involved if you attempt surgery so quickly.

The Action cost of your Heal Action| ◈◈◈ is reduced by 1 | ◈ (minimum 1). Once per Short Rest, you can heal the target for no action cost, but you heal for half as much (rounded up). If you Critically Fail while doing so, the taget takes 1d12 Force damage.

You may slow down your Heal Action to administer proper first aid, doing so over a Swift Rest, where you and the creature remain stationary.

If you do, your target heals for 2x the amount they would've healed from your Heal Action's result. This include healing from other modifiers, (such as the Life Domain's extra healing. They gain this benefit once per Swift Rest.

At character level 5, the slowed healing increases to 3x.

At character level 10, the slowed healing increases to 4x, and the target heals the full amount from the quickened healing.

Prerequisites

Proficiency in Knowledge: Medicine.
