Really, Mythical Beasts are nothing short of legendary, Fabled Creatures, but nothing more than mundane, altered Beasts. All told, most wouldn't know the difference between a unicorn and an alicorn, while others would struggle to understand the marks a Werewolf would leave behind. Thus, the lore of mythical beasts is used to understand, and proliferate this knowledge for those who would try to know their secrets.
