    The cast convenes in Makent and disembarks toward Du'chan.

    Destruction of the Sparrow-hawk

    The voyage of the Sparrow-hawk comes to a sudden and immolating conclusion as a strange tower in the distance sends a siege of numerous fiery shockwave at the boat. The boat is blown apart. Our heroes wash up on 'Two-Mile Island' with most of their equipment lost. Torque recovers the 'lucky charm' from Landen.

    Two-Mile Island

    The crew treks into the jungled island and meets Brother Marcon after rescuing him from hungry ratling pirates. They discover a treehouse a few miles north and use a mystical tome they find to accidental effect.

    Epitome (First Entry)
    Discovery, Exploration

    The survivors find themselves on a strange ebony pedestal with three torch holders on it. After hijinks lighting them, they travel in the snow following Torque's luck charm. It takes them to a ruined keep where they stay for a night battling mephits and snow kiddies. They confront an 'ice Gromlock' who turns out to be the 'Time Elemental'. A brief explanation later, the group is transported back to their normal world along part of a corpse that was on the keep's ruined tower.

    The Wandering Bazaar

    Appearing in the tent of an unsuspecting gnome, the survivors rest up and get a number of their items appraised (Torque's greatsword and charm, a book from the tome plane) They also purchase a map of the surrounding area and seek out the cannibals in the dunes for answers about their book.

    Desert Trek

    Ponchoed, the survivors trek the sands with their new companion Erky. They are beseiged by jackelwares injuring Torque and discover the 'Fucked up Cave of Wonder's' where they nearly TPK to a lamia. Saved by Corvin who retrieves a flag from the ruins, our heroes do emergency surgery on Erky saving his life and save Torque from succumbing to an infernal disease.

    Cauldronic Temple (North of Keather)

    Our heroes meet Aurine the acolyte and discover the source of the river: a room-sized cauldron with a small charm fused to its inside. They stay inside the temple for a few days until Aurine can take them back to her hometown, Keather.

    The Ari Badlands

    Our heroes are introduced to the elder of Keather, Harpine who dispenses information about the nature of their book, where the charm comes from, and about an upcoming festival in Kitsch. After some Gadaffi trickery, the party continues to Kitsch where they participate in the Festival of Iron. Torque wins a bone armor shell as the group goes to celebrate his victory.

    Desolation of the Ozwok people
    Disaster / Destruction

    A massive storm blows up from the Scorch along with Berne and a few people from Aiyeze's past. Our heroes follow the trio into Kitsch's grand temple where they are assaulted by seared beasts from the storm. Sealed in the temple with an ailing elder, the group descends into ancient catacombs beneath the city where a giant goldstone pyramid lay half-submerged. They stop the turning of Kitsch's elder and confront Berne in a great hall within the temple along with a strange naga.

    Epitome (Second Entry)

    The party escapes the Naga by returning to the tome world. After a final aside by Gadaffi and Berne, the two approach the party and plead their case. Berne reveals the true nature of the Aether Omphalos by entering the shadows around the ebony pedestal and ejecting the current 'Time Elemental', an Ari known as Ninurta. Berne explains that the gems hinder the world from advancing naturally are just a system of control. Our heroes stop his attempts to destroy the massive gem, convinced it will cease the flow of magic in the world.

    Corruption of the Aether Omphalos
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

    Gromlock convinces Gadaffi to enter the omphalos, as he knows destroy an occupied one massacres an entire species. Instead, Gadaffi's patron Tephra takes control of the crystal and remodels it into the Peluda. In the ensuing fight, Berne is killed and Gadaffi is skewered by Torque, Harpine, and the rest of the party. Gromlock heals Ninurta and restores him to the omphalos. Harpine reveals the dangers of Tephra and the Dire Islands. Ninurta, nearly demented by his occupation, thanks the party and sends them back.

    Du'chan

    Our heroes find themselves in the presence of several members of Kunstkammer's Automata and Oddities venturing toward Du'chan. They befriend Sharkisha and Jiggles the Muscle Clown and eventually make it to Du'chan. In the city, the group disperses to cover more ground. Gromlock learns about the relic, Lightbringer. Torque convinces Gasco d'Demas, the sponsor of the Sparrow-hawk to repay him for the troubles of the past month. The group regathers at the temple and approach Gasco at the docks. After great intimidation, they are rewarded a deed to his old keep in the north.

    Demas Towerhouse

    Taking a coach to their new property, our heroes dispatch a number of duergar hiding out there. They also manage to free a white dragon wyrmling chained to its roof. During the night, Brother Marcon is murdered by Sharkisha for a bounty. After a brief burial, the crew follows a set of footprints they believe belong to the culprit which leads to a cave in the cliffs below the towerhouse. There, our heroes encounter many strange Underdark creatures including a cult to Juilblex. Plundering its alter, dispatching many of the obliex'd followers, and ultimately defiling it with the words of Lathander, the crew calls forth a great ooze. Barely escaping its grasp, our heroes return to the beach under their new property.

    Temple of Lathander's Light (Gromlock)

    Gromlock repairs much of the towerhouse while training as a Dawngreeter. Finding Erky in a caravan of refugees, her invites the gnome to their new home. Gromlock, armed with new knowledge of the relic Lightbringer, ventures southward with Erky to Modano, There, they enter the desecrated temple Lathander and discover a strange underground chamber. It was an alter to Lolth once used by drow to create Underdark fiends now being used by Sea Elves to make nautical fiends. Teaming up with a sea elf from a rival domain, the trio dispatch those taking part in the dark ritual. Gromlock makes peace with his Cloak of Arachnia (Mantle of Lolth). Rajjar, his new sea elf compatriot, agrees to help the team find Lightbringer but only if they meet him in the Lost Steppe 'on neutral grounds'.
