Keather

Ozwok communities, while tight knit, do not share local deities. While Kitsch only truly worshiped the Duo and the ancients and only during the holy days or festivals, Keather was religiously rich. Keather praised the ancients as gods and regularly spun epics of their journeys during their many ceremonies. Their most famous, the Epic of Ninurta, speaks of an ancient Ari warrior saving the world as well as creating the Ozwok and his namesake river. Other acolytes burnt offerings and anointed themselves and their wings in oil often reciting paeans of the deified ancient they resonated with most. Keather was populated with many small shrines and of course the temple to the north at the source of the river. Although acolytes often cultivated crops and handled few trades outside of healing, those from Keather depended on weekly travel south on to Kitsch to obtain wares from the illiterate craftsmen.
