Brother Marcon

Past PC

Brother Marcon

First encountered by the Survivors on "Two Mile" Island, Marcon claimed to be on a walkabout to discover himself. He was found alongside a number of crew members from the Sparrow-hawk who were dead and being rotisseried by ratmen. After his rescue, he journeyed with the Survivors until his unfortunate demise months later in the hills north of Du'chan. Marcon was found dead in his bed in their newly acquired towerhouse; his throat slit by a serrated blade and forehead singed by a circumscribed skull. His body was interred a few yards away later that morning.   Very little is known about the past of this bald monk. One detail revealed posthumously indicated he was wanted by the Bone Men, a secluded sect of monks atop the Old Hermit. The bounty was written during the full reign of the Elven Empire implying he may have been in hiding. Considering his profession and stoic nature, it is possible Marcon was a member of that order himself, fleeing against their will.   Regardless, His similarity to Aiyeze's brother was striking and helped spur the friendship between the two warriors. His actions spared the Survivors from the lamia in the "Fucked Up Cave of Wonders," comforted the loss-stricken elder Harpine, and aided the team against a porcupine demon Gadaffi.
