Located on the eastern side of the Continental Island of Lluvia, it is the seat of the capital of the Grand Duchy of Východ- the Artistic City of Plátno. There is only one clear path that leads into and out of the peninsula, the rest of the terrain marked by sharp and craggy cliffs. These terrain features make for one of the most defensible positions on the continent from ground assault. Add to that a defensive magic shield and Platno is a bastion for its inhabitants and any visitors. Some have made the bold claim that with ever watchful defenders the Kopi Peninsula is unassailable. Others would disagree with this claim by pointing out that certain monsters and apparitions are unbothered by Platno's defensive structure- especially those that travel underground.

I do not believe a more vivid purple could be found on this continent. Platno has cornered the purple market for sure.

Východ-Purple

The area surrounding the Kopi Peninsula offer an abundance of a rare good: vibrant purple dyes of all shades. The exact method of extraction remains a secret to the people of Platno, but it is a mineral found within the cliffs of Kopi. The largest customer of this dye is the Free City of Centrum, who purchases the item in bulk to sell to others. The greatest user of the dye is the Queendom of Lunaria, a country that has difficulty establishing a direct trade route to Vychod as such a route would have to cross the expanding Kingdom of Helia. Lunaria's arrangement with Centrum, and Centrum's arrangement with Vychod does make the dye more expensive to the Lunarians. Vychod is open to adjusting the arrangement if a safe direct route with Lunaria could be found.
As for why the Kopi Peninsula produces vibrant purple dyes is a matter being studied by the Vychod geologists. The current accepted theory rests on the idea that the wild magics of the The Great Collapse were responsible. How much of the dye remains has yet to be determined. There is a growing worry that the unique mineral will soon run out, though this claim is contested by Platno authorities.

Solené Caves

There are several caves within the cliffs of the Kopi Peninsula. Some of these are mere hollow indentations. Others are entrances to a cave network that extends underneath the surrounding sea. It is believed that at some point that the part of the caves underneath the sea will become flooded as some breach is all but inevitable. For the moment, this network represents the most prolific source of rare color dyes as well as valuable metals and minerals. Next to the value of purple dyes, salt is the next most valuable item for the city of Platno and it is found in large deposits within this cave. This salt isn't always white in color, but can also be be pink, blue, green, and yellow.

Eliška Fields

On the northern side of the narrow passage to Platno is the greatest source of coffee on the continent: the Eliška Fields. This farm produces so much coffee that it has become a daily drink for Platno citizens while still allowing for exports of the bean. Moreover, the people of Platno enjoy experimenting with the bean and have created several specialty forms of coffee that can only be found in their city. The roasted bean is a specialty item that Platno exports at high values as coffee is considered a luxury item elsewhere on the continent.
As part of the coffee culture of the peninsula, a coffee roasting competition is held annually by the Eliska estate. The best varieties of the bean can only be enjoyed during this celebration as many a Coffee Sommelier can attest.
