The Renaissance Era is the fourth era of man. It is preceded by the Medieval Era and followed by the Industrial Era.
Eclipse of the Crescent Moon, after many days, successfully was able to enter the depths of the Sunless Citadel, and with the help of friend and mercenaries, kill Belak, the Outcast and stop his vile plans.
The Third Admer Empire blew a large chunk of the Gellar Mountain Range out using the flying fortress of Greater Hrafn, to allow the passage of flying cities and other fortresses through the range.
The Royal Navy's most powerful, and largest ship is crushed by the force of the ocean along the Whirlpool Coast during an engagement with Ograd-Tusk.
Somewhere out in the Plains of Ash is one of those Admerian flying city, crashed into the mountians. Have you seen it? I wonder how it got there...One fateful night the city of Greater Hrafn would whir to life, propelled by its magical batteries the city would cover a great distance in a matter of minutes - before plummeting out of the sky. The survivors blame the Cult of Hastur and their grand plot to indoctrinate Nerrida Galleren.
A group of adventures arrive in Orlane to find the village in a frightened and weakened state. After a stressful time of kidnapping and escaping, hit and run fights, and full on assaults on areas of high cultist intent over a months time, the heroes successfully freed the village from the Cult of the Reptile God and the cults evil leader, Explictica Defilus.
Victorious at last, the party with the aid of the holy knights of Al Sole, kill the self proclaimed Reptile God and gain the regional titles of Heroes of New Orlanes.
The Heroes, after killing Explictica Defilus, find a group of Troglodytes being attacked by the snake gods body guard, a twisted and mutated T-Rex called Bonesnapper. The Heroes, killing Bonesnapper, free the female leaders of the Hellmusk Clan, and allow them to escape, heading back to their homeland in the Underdark.
With the village of New Orlanes free from the Cult of the Reptile God, and the holy knights of Al Sole and Castenella's Knights working on clearing any side dungeon passages, the heroes, along with the town, indulge in festivities and sea food and copious amounts of alcohols on this new night of celebration, Madri Gras.
After years of being away, Davros, either through luck or drug or some other force, found himself in the Cavern of Flames at the bottom of the Steps of Lighter Slumber. Here he crossed the first gate, and would cross many nights after, into the Steps of Deeper Slumber and into the Dreamlands of Asyur.
High on the confidence of victory against the cult in New Orlanes, the heroes joined with a group of traveling nomads, accompanying them on a ceremonial ritual in their original homelands, now controlled by the Gran Dutchy. The heroes company would prove more than useful, as during the ritual a great swarm of goblins, headed by a Fiend, would attack the site of worship. The heroes, successful in battle, sent the Fiend back to the hells of the Abyss, and claimed it's cursed glaive as prize.
After the successful defeat of Iki Ryo and his goblin-rider army, the party discovers a treasure map on one of the goblins bodies. Taking it and following it, the heroes set for a mountain known locally as the Stone Tooth Peak. They arrive late at night, to find the mountain controlled by Orcs who have moved into a dwarven ruin.
The Heroes of New Orlanes investigate an ancient dwarven stronghold built into a mountain. Finding a clan of lost dwarves still alive inside, they attempt to help them, but ultimately fail in protecting them from the Black Dragon of the lake Nightscale. Eventually the party is able to slay the beast, but the revenge on the beast is hollow.
The Heroes, after infiltrating the orcs inhabiting the Stone Tooth Peak, invade the Mountain Door level of the dwarven ruin from a system of caverns beneath known as the Glitterhame. During this skirmish, the Heroes would deal a lethal blow to the orcs, killing their leader, a female Orc of Gruumsh known as Bulgrug and the clans ogre-cook Ulfe. The rest of the clan try to flee after this, but most die in the process, chased down like rabid dogs by Nerrida.
The Heroes, after solving a puzzle door, gain entry to the forge level of Khundrukar. Here the Heroes meet the first Duergar clan, Clan Durgeddin, the successor clan of Clan Stonehammer, and the rightful owners of Khundrukar and the Forge of Fury of Durgeddin Stonehammer, the Black. The heroes would offer to aid the duergar clan in reclaiming their ancestral home.
After praying to his patron saint Cuthbert, Giorno would open his eyes to see him holding a large golden egg, that emitted a strange, low, intermittent whistling. Giorno doesn't believe the Golden Egg came from Cuthbert of Pelor, despite its bright yellow coloration. He instead suspects it came from Pelagius, the Mad Saint of Pelor, whose gifts and actions seem strange or 'mad' to those who are not familiar with his worshipers.
With the presumed death of Rodrick, and disbandment of his tower for a few years, his good friend Savyre Pylades would gift ownership of the Tower to his student Hrodel Riften, after events caused her to flee Hookerhill under fear of persecution of using magic.
Upon entering a large, subterranean lake, the heroes met and conversed with a Dragon who called himself Nightscale, Terror of the Skies, and ruler of the [Stone Tooth] Mountain. After attempting to parlay with the creature, the holy paladin Giorno, possessed by the Allip Anduril, became enraged and starting attacking into the blackness that hung over the lake. Unable to see the dragon, the party attempted to stop Giorno, forcing the allip out of his body, whom then in turn went into a rage as the dragon finally became visible. Fleeing, leaving the allip as a distraction, the party fled with an unconscious Giorno, back to the forge level of Khundrukar, and resting a short time, immediately left for help in foreign lands. Giorno thinks about this battle frequently, believing it to be the reason that the peak no longer produces any smoke... But only time will tell if Giorno is right, and if the dragon should have been dealt with then and there... He just hopes this won't come with the death and loss of the dwarves they were trying to help in the first place...
After heading to the Valley of the Mage in hopes to find aid against the Black Dragon Nightscale, the party encountered a Ranger traveling the area. This ranger introduced himself as John Ramco, along with his companion and pet, a brown rat named Remy. John would offer to escort the party through the valley, as guide.
The Heroes of New Orlanes while trying to gain support against the danger that is Nightscale, discover a potential reason why Greater Hrafn was targeted by the Cult of Hastur as they uncover a local sect of the Cult of Yellow who have an obsession with party member Nerrida Galleren.
After gaining entrance to the treasure vault of the Cult of Hastur in the Boldon Region, the holy Knight Giorno stole a book of importance to the cult, their ritual book.
Giorno destroys the Book of Hastur before being fully imprisoned briefly in the elven guard towers in the Valley of the Mage.
Riding the back of an alien creature known to occultist as the Byakhee or the Interstellar Star Steed, Nerrida flew into the night sky, laughing insanely, and disappearing out of sight.
After the events in New Orlanes and the Boldon Region of the Valley of the Mage, Inquisitor Giorno re-forged his paladins and Castenella's Knights into a single battalion of warriors, whose sole purpose was to protect the ignorant peoples from dangerous magics and artifacts.
Giorno reforges the legendary Pelorian sword Durindana using the soul of Durgeddin, legendary dwarven blacksmith to mend the blades magic along with its physical appearance.
Wakeley and Eclipse set out into the Starmetal Hills in search of a lost shrine to Eclipse's patron diety Selûne only to find the temples power out of control.
The party, meeting Julio for the first time, are enlisted to help him stop his creation, the living spellbook, J.a.M.a.L. from destroying Hrodel's Tower and possibly the region. Julio: "Who would corrupt my spellbook with knowledge of Demon Magic?!"
