Dunnmarsh

It is said that the road less traveled is good to take, this road however may not. People do not like to talk about the furtive town of Dunnmarsh. Those who have blood there have done well to hide it and make sure it will never come up. Its folk are strange, and many a things have been said about old wizards and warlocks that lived in the farming town.   After the Prime Church came into Dunnmarsh Reverend Hoadley gave a rather memorable sermon on the close presence of demon worship and their imps, in which he said:
“It must be allow’d, that these Blasphemies of an infernall Train of Daemons are Matters of too common Knowledge to be deny’d; the cursed Voices of Adrastros and Beshaba, of Blathmac and Tolona, being heard now from under Ground by above a Score of credible Witnesses now living. I my self did not more than a Fortnight ago catch a very plain Discourse of evill Powers in the Hill behind my House; wherein there were a Rattling and Rolling, Groaning, Screeching, and Hissing, such as no Things of this Earth cou’d raise up, and which must needs have come from those Caves that only black Magick can discover, and only the Divell unlock.”
People noted that Mr. Hoadley disappeared soon after giving this sermon, but the text, scribed in Verbobonc, still exists.
