Anduril
Legends. Anduril Stonehammer was a shield Dwarf cleric of Moradin who lived during the waning days of Delzoun [dwarvish empire pre Dragon wars]. A member of the Stonehammer Clan under Durgeddin the Black, Anduril was the spiritual adviser and loremaster in Khundrukar until that fortress' destruction. When Dragons from the Admer Empire finally descended upon the few surviving dwarves, Anduril hid away and was passed over.
Alone in the deep, he began casting every spell he knew to try to ease his conscience. In the depth of his madness, he made deals with demons, raised undead, and animated furniture before taking his own life. The suicidal fool returned to life, however, as an Allip. Over the centuries Andurill has grown even more powerful and more insane to match, believing his creations where what did him in, the Succubus Idalla.
After encountering a party of Heroes in the kitchen, Anduril possessed the paladin Giorno Giovanni, where he compelled the party to clear his home of the Draconic presence. The Heroes, with Anduril, successfully killed Adalla the Succubus, bringing some closure to the long dead mage.
When the Heroes with Anduril descended beneath the Forge of Fury and Khundrukar, they entered The Black Lake. It is here that Anduril would meet his second and final end during battle, against the Black Dragon of the Black Lake, Nightscale.
