It is said that all mortals are destined to face Selûne, when their lives come to an end. Selûne to most mortals is a representation of the most fearful and unknown part of existence, death. As the sun wanes and the shadows lengthen across the lands, Selûnes power grows, and as the sun rises and the shadows recede and eventually fade, her power fades.    Parallel to Pelor, who is considered the god of the Sun, Selûne is the goddess of the Moon. Many of her worshipers believe that she is the embodiment of both of the natural satellites of the world. She is however not in the druidic religion, and is part of the Pelor myth cycle. The Tabaxi mercenaries of the lands all worship the Moonmaiden, as she is the only deity in their culture, as the two moons of Asyur dictate the type of Tabaxi that is born.

Age of Sails

She was considered the goddess of the stars, navigators, wanderers, quest seekers, and non-evil lycanthropes.

Fallen From Power

In the ancient Netheril empire of the elves, she was known as Bright Nydra a Greater Goddess, and held the powers of the moon, moonlight, and stars; beauty and purity; love and marriage; navigation and navigators; tracking, wanderers, seekers; diviners and dreams; good and neutral lycanthropes; and autumn.
