Milosi of the Kingsrift
The Milosi are those citizens of Kingsrift who dwell north of the Pass of Peril. Considering themselves Monosi in all but name, many see themselves as simultaneously superior to all other Milosians (whom they disdainfully call Peninsulans) yet inferior to "true Monosi." Noble Milosi eagerly seek to marry into Monosi families, especially those linked with the King of Kings.
The Milosi nobility are comprised chiefly of those who took the lands of the Roylians when they fled south through the Pass of Peril during the Century Wars. As such, the Milosi are ethnically Monosi in nearly every sense, save their political separation from the Mortal Kingdoms and, most notably, a near universal preference for the Old Faith.
