Qalans

The people of the northeastern hills of the Holy Qhaganate of Zalja. Qalans are seen as relatively advanced despite their isolated location, their settlements being considered centers of art and crafting. Their proximity to the ancient Visrite mines and the New Mine have maintained their relevance and allows them a certain level of autonomy. The first 'a' in "Qalan" is a long/flat a, despite that this same letter is pronounced roundly in both "Qalnanibi" and "the Qal Nal Hills."
