    Beginnings
    Discovery, Exploration

Iris and Seraph, travellers all the way from Aporea, are making their way across Ankare Island in Euhukoa Empire. They made camp by the side of the road where they were approached by Nyx and Yeissal, two natives from very different backgrounds who had only met days before but decided to travel together. They'd veered off the road for a day as they followed a snake to its nest where all of its kin had been slain. As they got back to the road they saw the campfire and decided to go see who had made camp there. After a bit of an awkward start, the four decided to travel together seeing as they were all headed towards the city Gladarrin.

    Thievery Is Bad

During their travel they met a short air genasi girl named Eliza. She asked them if they had any money or food to spare. Iris gave her a lot of gold and Eliza thanked her with a hug, but Seraph saw her do some kind of hand signal behind Iris' back and grabbed her, demanding to know what she was doing. Eliza told her companions to come out of hiding and they were all young children. She explained that they were fleeing from Gladarrin where they had been adopted by a man who had then used them as pickpockets and thieves. The man was part of an organisation called Hidden Hands. Nyx was very adamant that stealing is bad and that Eliza should just get a job instead of taking things from people passing by. Eliza was not at all impressed by his arguments. They parted ways and the four adventurers kept heading towards Gladarrin.

The group reached Gladarrin and got rooms at The Glad Hippogriff. They decided to go to a bathhouse where both Nyx and Seraph stole candles from the private rooms they had bathed in. Nyx claimed that he thought they were included in the fee for the private room.

    The Reliable
    Life, Relocation

They took a cargo airship named The Reliable, owned by the kind halfling captain Robert Burton who agreed to take them to Drifthorne for very little money. Nyx, Iris and Seraph were very excited about the airship and went around exploring it, looking out of windows and then spending a lot of time in the lookout room completely made of glass on the bottom of the ship. Yeissal spent most of the time in the captain's quarters which they were allowed to stay in during the trip. In the middle of the night when they were all sleeping, the ship suddenly stopped and they were jarred awake. A couple of crew members explained to them that some instruments were broken and they had ended up below the island instead of above it like they were supposed to. It would take some time to repair the instruments. Seraph and Nyx decided to go above deck and attempt to look up at the island. It was pitch black so they couldn't see much and were surprised by six stirges attacking. Seraph decided to throw Nyx away from the danger and was therefor attacked by all of the stirges. He very nearly died before his party and some of the crew killed the stirges and Nyx healed him.

    House of Happiness
    Cultural event

After arriving in Drifthorne and spending the remainder of the night at an inn named The Sleeping Shipmate, the group decided to explore the city. Yeissal woke up earlier than everyone else and headed out to look for members of the dragonborn clan that she had been adopted into - Delmirev. Asking some guards she was told that some of them often frequented the temple of Bahamut. Drifthorne's temple to Bahamut was an extraordinary building of smooth stone, setting itself apart from all the other buildings with its tall tower, a platinum statue of Bahamut on top. Inside Yeissal spoke to one of the acolytes, a dragonborn who turned out to be part of the Delmirev clan. Her name was Irierann and Yeissal spent a bit of time talking to her.

    A Real Bro
    Life, Achievement/ Win

The four adventurers headed out to the farmlands outside of Drifthorne. Outside the city wall they saw a stable with a sign that said "Hitch a Ride". Going up to the halfling man who was out taking care of the horses, they asked how much it would be to get a ride to where they were going. Seeing as the price was good and that it would save time, they decided to pay for the ride. The man running the place went over to the house and called for Hannah. She was an eighteen year old halfling girl with wild curly dark brown hair, brown skin and honey brown eyes. She was happy to be out driving the cart and she seemed to really like the four adventurers.

    Population Migration / Travel

The group got on the airship named Heritage, captained by a brusque human woman named Kayla Hackett. They were forbidden from exploring the ship and had to stick to their room other than for visits to the restroom. A crew member named Cat, a longtooth shifter, was assigned to check up on them from time to time.

    Mythic Woods
    Expedition

During their time on Heritage, Cat had told them about a legend about the Mythic Woods on Hulpawa Island where they were travelling to. The legend says that if you travel into the Mythic Woods for three days without harming anything, you'll reach a tower where you can find great riches. The group (Nyx, Iris and Seraph outvoting Yeissal) had decided to see if the legend was true.

    The Mythic Tower
    Expedition

The group entered the tower. They went through a series of sometimes confusing rooms and challenges but in the end they reached a room with four chests, one for each of them, containing treasures of both money and things personal to them. Only a few hours had passed while they were in the tower and much of the day was still left so they decided to head back towards Mythmore the same day. During their travel that day some mischievous pixies turned Seraph and Iris into pigs for an hour.

    The Rift
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

They were almost at Mythmore's walls when they heard the sounds of battle. Moving forward they saw a rift in the air and from it came giant spiders and ettercaps. Fighting these creatures were people organised with different coloured uniforms and armour. Closest to our group were five people dressed in black, fighting creatures that got past the initial defenders. They decided to join in and helped the five dressed in black kill a few of the giant spiders and ettercaps.

    The Hourglass
    Financial Event

An animal messenger sent by Ekadius revealed to the group that he and the other four trainees had been sent to Imperos for intensive training as punishment for the events of the previous day. The group also went to The Hourglass where Stelios, looking very morose, was on a ladder scrubbing the hourglass outside the store with a tiny brush. He had been minding the store for his sister, Faidra, and had missed one of the zeros on the price of the Robe of Useful Items, thus selling it to Seraph for 4500 less gold than he was supposed to. The group commiserated but did nothing to fix the situation, other than shop some more items in the store.

    The Winding Path
    Disbandment

When they were heading toward the skyport to board the airship to Imperos, Iris and Seraph heard a familiar voice call their names. They turned around and there was Chloe, Iris' mom, and their "uncle" Yelro, a close family friend. They had come to get Seraph and Iris because Seraph's mother wasn't feeling well and Chloe was worried. Seraph and Iris said goodbye to Nyx and Yeissal and went home with Chloe and Yelro.

    Criminal Activity

One of the passengers on Crown's Call was found dead. The captain decided that everyone should stay in their rooms and they'd search them for evidence. Unfortunately for Yeissal she had a poisonous snake and a stiletto dagger, matching both the wound and the poison found to have killed the passenger. Yeissal was taken to be locked in a storage closet until the time they reached the next skyport and she could be handed over to proper authorities.

Finally having reached Imperos late the previous day, they headed to Sky Sanctum where Heska had told Yeissal that he would be. As they waited in line to be allowed entry into the monastery they saw Iosif, the gnome monk of The Mender's Guild that Nyx and Yeissal had first met in Mythmore when Seraph and Iris were still with them. They had a brief conversation and went their separate ways. In the Sky Sanctum Yeissal got to speak to the head monk Agni who told her that Heska had not been there and hadn't been summoned there in the first place.

    Expedition

Lumisashi's Sending spell reached Heska who responded that he was in Windwood Village and that Yeissal should stay in Imperos because he would be back soon. Of course Yeissal wasn't going to stay in Imperos and she and the rest of the group prepared to head out. They made the journey through farmlands and the hills beyond, where they fought two phase spiders, and got to know each other more through some bonding. After a few days they reached the Howling Forest in which Windwood Village was located and, though getting a bit off course at one point, they eventually would reach their destination.

    A Terrifying Reflection
    Life, Identity

In Windwood Village the villagers were varying degrees of unhelpful. Most because they genuinely didn't know much and some because they seemed afraid of Yeissal. However, the group did find out that Heska had been there and he had a gang of mercenaries with him. They had been staying at a nice old halfling woman's house and she was happy to give them the information that she had which wasn't much but she did say that Heska and the others went out into the woods every day, seemingly searching for something. Yeissal and the others set out to see if they could find Heska when the old woman told them that he should've been back by now and she was worried.

    Tense Travels
    Population Migration / Travel

The journey back to Imperos was tense to say the least. Heska had a chance to explain more of what had happened in the past. He'd been party of a group sent by Seavind's temple of Bahamut to find the lair of a suspected cult. He had thought that they would capture them to bring them to justice in a proper manner but the rest of his group started killing indiscriminately once they were there. He had not personally killed any of the cult members but he hadn't stepped in to stop the others either, too cowardly to do so. It had been his life's biggest regret since and when he found Yeissal years later he took her in, hoping to repent for his inaction by doing so. Since then he had searched for other survivors to try to help them as well, not telling Yeissal because he was afraid of her hating him forever.

    A Purrfect Job
    Miscellaneous

Back in Imperos the group decided to take a job to make some money. They found a flyer at City Hall about a missing cat and decided to try to find it. They met the kind of peculiar owner, an elf named Hanali, who explained the situation and told them that their cat, Pearl, as well as their servant, a half-elf named Thervan, were missing but that they didn't think that they were related events. With some false starts and not knowing how to find a cat in a crowded city, they managed to find Thervan who told them that he had gone out for some fresh air and left the back door open as he did so and that Pearl had run out to chase a bird and disappeared. Not wanting to return to Hanali unless he could find their cat first he had stayed with friends since. After more searching, they were approached by a winged cat, a tressym, that had Pearl's diamond collar in its mouth. They followed the tressym to where Pearl was, stuck under a pile of decorative stones and boulders in a park. They freed Pearl and brought her back to Hanali who was effusively thankful and gave them a larger sum of money for bringing back her cat and her servant, as well as a tressym who decided to stay to keep an eye on Pearl.

    Miscellaneous

Nyx, Matty and Azzabin headed out to look for Yeissal who had not spent the night in the guest quarters of the temple along with them. The three of them were then approached by Lilith Mourmont, a half-elf wizard who was looking for an independent adventuring party to hire to help her achieve her goals. They easily agreed, eager to make new friends. However, Yeissal was not so happy about the arrangement when they finally met with her again. She had also had a dream about Yaoszia being whipped as punishment for something and that troubled her. Through earlier research they had found that a possible location to find ruins was under the Howling Forest, from where they had just returned. There were also notes that a temple of Bahamut might have been located there before The Cataclysm of Arbressian. It was decided that they would head back to the Howling Forest the next day, now with Lilith joining them.

    Werewolves
    Miscellaneous

During their travels they veered a little off course. As they camped, during the night on Matty's watch a giant board came barrelling through the camp and was followed by a pack of huge wolves but thankfully the camp and Matty were unscathed. Later, during Lilith's watch the wolves passed by again and one of them gave her an acknowledging nod. The group now truly believed that there were werewolves in the Howling Forest.

    Discovery, Exploration

The group found the entrance to the underground ruins amongst the rubble of the collapsed cabin where they had rescued Heska from death. Still there were decomposing bodies of the mercenaries he had hired to bring with him, some of them halfway eaten by animals. They went down into the ruins and came across a variety of challenges, including a mimic, and a giant constrictor snake. They also found a note written in a code that only Yeissal could read, written to her by Yaoszia and warning her not to follow as she wanted her to live.

    Evil Trees
    Disaster / Destruction

They spent the day travelling back towards Imperos before Lilith summoned her magic tower in the evening when it was time for rest. Azzabin and Nyx decided to go plant another bean. Out of this one grew a tree full of delicious fruits which they picked. Seeing as that was such a success, they decided to plant another bean. However, this time a treant grew and looked at them with evil intent, heading to attack them. Seeing this, Azzabin and Nyx both cast fireball at it and in the process started a forest fire. They backed up and the treant followed, animating two other trees to attack them. Another fireball was cast in this area and caused the forest fire to grow even larger. They managed to vanquish the treants but now they had a forest fire on their hands. They tried to get it under control but in a forest with so much wind blowing in every direction, the fire was spreading fast.

Nyx spent the day casting a spell that would rejuvenate the forest to undo the damage that had been done by the forest fire. Meanwhile, Lilith who was seriously concerned that there was something wrong with Azzabin, cast a spell to read his thoughts and delve deeper into his mind. However, as she tried to probe deeper she was met with only a wall of fire that was giving off actual heat and was unlike anything she had encountered before when it came to this kind of spell. Now they had a new mystery on their hands.
