Finally having reached Imperos late the previous day, they headed to Sky Sanctum where Heska had told Yeissal that he would be. As they waited in line to be allowed entry into the monastery they saw Iosif, the gnome monk of The Mender's Guild that Nyx and Yeissal had first met in Mythmore when Seraph and Iris were still with them. They had a brief conversation and went their separate ways. In the Sky Sanctum Yeissal got to speak to the head monk Agni who told her that Heska had not been there and hadn't been summoned there in the first place.

They then went to the temple of Bahamut to ask people working there if Heska had been by. They met the head priest, Lumisashi Voldrek, who told them that he hadn't seen Heska for a long time but he would ask others at the temple if they had seen him. It turned out that Heska had been there but hadn't said anything about where he was going.    After finding no luck in figuring out where Heska was, the group headed to the magic shop called The Elemental Key. Yeissal bought a scroll of Sending in hopes of contacting Heska but was unsuccessful in casting the spell. The proprietor of the store, a dragonborn named Rezena Mohradyllion, then suggested that they could try asking a cleric at one of the temples if they could help rather than having to spend so much money on a scroll again.    So the group headed back to ask Lumisashi if he could contact Heska and he said that he could but not until the next morning as he didn't have the spell prepared that day.    Resigned to not being able to do more that day, the group headed to the guest quarters of the temple of Erathis where they were staying thanks to Gael's help.
