The Mender's Guild Organization in Arbressian | World Anvil

The Mender's Guild

The guild exists in Euhukoa Empire and is largely responsible for keeping the continent from falling apart. It has several divisions with powerful magic users and warriors. Sometimes mercenaries are hired for smaller tasks and at times these jobs are a test to find new talent to join their guild. Often people are needed from more than one division to solve a problem, in which case groups of them who work especially well together stay together for their following jobs.

Structure

Divisions

  Menders of Matter:
Arcane magic wielders who specialise in repairing rifts in reality and closing unstable portals.
Head of division: Zavu "Skyherder" Katho-Olukena (female goliath)   Members of this division wear forest green uniforms.   Menders of Continuum:
Arcane magic wielders who specialise in solving time related issues where pockets of altered time appear, or where the dead walk again.
Head of division: Tex Soldinda (male gnome)   Members of this division wear purple uniforms.   Menders of Might:
Warriors of great skill that kill hostile creatures emerging from rifts and portals.
Head of division: Uzra Kerov (female half-orc)   Members of this division wear deep red uniforms and armour.   Menders of Instability:
Arcane or divine magic wielders who restore order in the aftermath of places affected by rifts, portals, time anomalies and hostile creatures.
Head of division: Lathios Nivan (male elf)   Members of this division wear white uniforms.   Menders of Minds:
Officially they are there to take statements about the strange events from non-guild members and support and comfort them if needed. Unofficially people suspect that there is more to the division than is publicly known.
Head of division: Atalyn Veralnath (female triton)   Members of this division wear soft blue uniforms.   Aspiring Menders: The trainees are not part of the official divisions until they are deemed skilled enough. Often they are transferred between islands during their training process. However they must always go to Imperos first to go through testing by the people in charge of admittance to the guild. Few make it through this rigorous process on the first try but you are always welcome to try again at a later time once you've got more experience.   The people in charge of admittance are all previous heads of any of the divisions who have since stepped back from their positions due to age, injury or other reasons.   Trainees of the guild wear black uniforms and armour.
