The four adventurers headed out to the farmlands outside of Drifthorne. Outside the city wall they saw a stable with a sign that said "Hitch a Ride". Going up to the halfling man who was out taking care of the horses, they asked how much it would be to get a ride to where they were going. Seeing as the price was good and that it would save time, they decided to pay for the ride. The man running the place went over to the house and called for Hannah. She was an eighteen year old halfling girl with wild curly dark brown hair, brown skin and honey brown eyes. She was happy to be out driving the cart and she seemed to really like the four adventurers.

Once they reached the spot they'd been told was were the murder had happened, they jumped off the cart and said goodbye to Hannah who turned around to head back to her home. The group approached a tabaxi man who was pouring food for sheep in a pen. He introduced himself as Humble and said that his son had been killed by whatever it was. He also said that his daughter was the one who'd gotten a look at the creature. They were invited into Humble's home where they met his wife, Marble, and his daughters, Spring and Summer. Spring was the one who had seen her brother, Winter, being killed and she described it as best she could.    The group then headed towards the forest line where Spring said the creature had headed. Nyx managed to find the large tracks of the creature pretty easily once in the woods where there wasn't as much snow covering the soft mossy ground. They followed the tracks to the burrow of some animal which had been made larger. Out of it came a female ogre who didn't seem to notice them. A short battle was had and they killed the ogre without taking any damage.    Inside the burrow they found a half-ogre who was begging for them not to kill him, that he hadn't wanted his mother to steal or kill. He'd tried to get away from her before but when other people saw him they were scared and either ran away or attacked him. His name was Brozar. The group felt sorry for him and brought him back to Humble's farm. There they explained the situation and after a discussion, Humble and Marble decided to take Brozar in as a farmhand of sorts.    The situation being resolved, the group headed back to Drifthorne to get their reward for killing the ogre. They also told the guard captain, Emma Venrel, about Brozar so that she or the rest of the guards wouldn't attack him.
