Discovery, Exploration
The group found the entrance to the underground ruins amongst the rubble of the collapsed cabin where they had rescued Heska from death. Still there were decomposing bodies of the mercenaries he had hired to bring with him, some of them halfway eaten by animals. They went down into the ruins and came across a variety of challenges, including a mimic, and a giant constrictor snake. They also found a note written in a code that only Yeissal could read, written to her by Yaoszia and warning her not to follow as she wanted her to live.
Further into the ruins, Azzabin triggered a glyph of warding that damaged all of them badly and knocked Lilith unconscious. Lilith was understandably angry and also shaken by the event as she had never gone unconscious before. They tried to deal with some of the group issues and rested before continuing on. Deeper down they faced off with a bone naga and managed to kill it without anyone else going unconscious, even though it was a close call. In the cave that the bone naga had been guarding they found more signs of people having lived there for a time. Azzabin also found traces of blood and pieces of thick but elastic egg shells. In another area even deeper down they found more remnants of the temple of Bahamut. In here they found the skull of what looked like an ancient silver dragon. They decided to stay and try to excavate parts of it in hopes of finding treasure. While Azzabin was in the process of doing so, Nyx was suddenly in such excruciating pain that he fell unconscious. His body was visibly and audibly growing. Towards the end of the next day, Nyx had grown to be 5'8" tall but his bones and internal organs were still struggling to grow and catch up. Meanwhile Azzabin continued to excavate under the dragon skeleton. On the 5th he found a Bag of Beans which motivated him to search for more. On the 6th, Nyx was recovered enough that they would be able to leave the ruins but first he wanted to help with trying to find treasure. He summoned several giant badgers to tunnel under and around the skeleton and then they searched those tunnels. They found a lot of money, some more magical items (including a magical armour) and last, but not least they found a silver dragon egg. Once they had found that they decided to make their way back to the surface. There, Lilith cast a spell to create a two-story tower where they could rest for the night. But before rest, Azzabin and Nyx decided to go plant two of the magic beans. Out of one came a 20-foot geyser of wine and the other grew a statue which was a perfect replica of Nyx and spewed insults at him for as long as he was near. Once he walked further away the statue told Azzabin what an awful and evil person Nyx was and that he must be stopped.
