Metaphysical / Paranormal event
They were almost at Mythmore's walls when they heard the sounds of battle. Moving forward they saw a rift in the air and from it came giant spiders and ettercaps. Fighting these creatures were people organised with different coloured uniforms and armour. Closest to our group were five people dressed in black, fighting creatures that got past the initial defenders. They decided to join in and helped the five dressed in black kill a few of the giant spiders and ettercaps.
After the battle was over and the rift was closed, the group learned that these people were from The Mender's Guild. Those dressed in black were newer recruits, yet to be sorted into any of the divisions. These five individuals - a dwarf named Katria, a wood elf named Danai, a half-orc named Iro, a gnome named Iosif, and a tiefling named Ekadius - led them to a half-elf dressed in clothes of a soft blue colour who introduced themselves as Damaris and asked them a few questions before giving them a bit of money as thanks for the help. Once that was done, the five trainees of the Mender's Guild asked if the group would want to go for some drinks with them as they had the rest of the day off. The group agreed and they went to a quite fancy tavern named The Ancient Anvil. There our group staged an impromptu performance which enraptured most people in the tavern. A lot of flirting was had and after a while Ekadius asked Seraph if he wanted to see his favourite place in the city and Seraph agreed. But on the way there Seraph asked about magic shops so Ekadius took him to The Hourglass. Seraph bought some expensive items to the joy of the shopkeeper, a dwarven man named Stelios Mitridis. Once Seraph's shopping was done, Ekadius took him to a serene park in Old Town and they had a bit of conversation before Ekadius invited Seraph to come see his room. Meanwhile, Nyx, Iris and Yeissal decided to get rooms at the inn next to The Ancient Anvil called The Resting Rose. When they learned that there was a suite available they decided to stay there even though it cost sixteen gold per night. Nyx and Yeissal procured tickets for a passenger airship that would leave for Imperos in three days. When Seraph was done having sex with Ekadius, he decided to try to get into the Mender's Guild's headquarters in Mythmore. He only disguised his clothes to look like the black uniform of the trainees and immediately upon entering the building, a receptionist recognised that he was not a member of the guild and was trying to impersonate one. Seraph had to run away but managed to escape from those who came to chase after him. After some tense and worried discussions had by the group after they'd all gathered in the suite at the Resting Rose, there was a knock on the door. It was Ekadius who had learned about what Seraph had done and was quite furious. He had decided to trust that Seraph was a good person and hadn't meant any harm and therefore he would ask Iosif to talk to the people at the guild and say that they'd dared Seraph to do it after getting drunk. Hopefully this would convince them not to persecute Seraph and the others as Iosif came from an upstanding important family.
